518 is now available for rent!

The Kendra Alexander Foundation will rent space in the Eric Quezada Center to any group that it deems to be compatible with our declared statement of purpose in our articles of incorporation:

The overall aim of this Foundation is to provide opportunities for new and veteran activists for social change to educate, develop and train themselves and thereby to enable them to better organize and educate others to support equal rights; an end to racism, sexism, homophobia and discrimination based on age; national and international economic, social and environmental justice; and a peaceful world free of imperialism

Located close to BART in the Mission District, 518 Valencia is the perfect location for small to medium-sized events, such as fundraisers, meetings, film screenings, classes and more. Rental includes use of our main event room (pictured below), an extra office space/childcare room for your convenience, two bathrooms (one which is ADA accessible), and a small kitchenette area. Rentals also include use of: 80 chairs, 4 tables, house lights,and stage risers (6’ x 10’ or 5' x 12' - depending on set up). All events are staffed by 518 Valencia staff. A sound system, and other equipment such as a microphone, projector and screen, are also available on-site for a small extra fee. 518 is dedicated to providing an accessible, affordable space - please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your event needs!

Events (for whatever reason) that end after midnight will be charged a $50 fee to provide transportation for 518 staff. (BART is closed)

Groups who extend past their agreed rental hours will pay time and ½ for any time beyond the original reservation.

All rental payments must be completed on or by the day of event or late payment charges will be billed as needed for payment followup and collection at $25 per hour (one hour minimum). Please make arrangements in advance to bring rental payments. We do not have the ability to process credit cards!
